Interactive Mining Exhibition
The Interactive Mining Exhibition presents mining and Tatabánya's past in a modern guise, with the help of 21st century equipment. Our aim is to make this interesting but very dangerous profession accessible to as many people as possible.
In addition to the personal experience, visitors will return home with a virtual and augmented reality experience. The experience includes bringing the field table to life, answering quizzes from the „Half is not true!” quiz, trying out the dinosaur room or even the VR game.
The exhibition is recommended for school groups, families and all visitors interested in mining and interactive tools. The gift shop at the entrance to the exhibition sells fridge magnets, colouring books, pens, flash drives, yo-yos and many other gifts. Little travellers can also collect a new stamp for their Kajla passport.
Children can use interactive tools to bring the field table to life, showing Tatabánya in the heyday of mining.
Through virtual reality, visitors can experience what it must have been like to work deep in the mines.
A popular room is the "Dinosaur Room", where children can build their own dinosaur from a few ingredients and then escape or even pet it virtually.
